Description:  Students will learn to identify and utilize herbaceous plants with ornamental value in the landscape, including native and introduced perennials, grasses and cultivars.  Topics include typical ecological associations, environmental tolerances and/or intolerance, cultural requirements and design characteristics.

Instructor:   Kim Todd

Delivery:  Academic students will complete Internet-based assignments and quizzes, as directed by the instructor.

Requirements:  Internet-access and e-mail. 

Prerequisites:  Students must be enrolled in UNL's Graduate School, have completed a minimum of 12 hours of plant science courses, and have the permission of the instructor.
