  • Read general regulations and M.S. degree sections of the Graduate Studies Bulletin and the Agronomy & Horticulture Graduate Student Handbook and follow Master Degree Deadline Dates through completion of your degree.

  • Remove all admission deficiencies within the first two semesters.

  • Complete Memorandum of Courses . Take completed form signed by your advisor to the graduate secretary to get signature of Graduate Chair. Any course deficiencies must be removed before submitting this form which is due in Graduate Studies within 12 months of beginning the graduate program. A student may not file a Memorandum of Courses and graduate in the same semester or summer session.

  • Complete Annual Progress Report. Information will be sent out early each spring semester.

    Complete Seminar Requirements
    a. Agro/Hort 991 Seminar Presentation & Evaluation.
    b. Agro 992 or Hort 950 – General Seminar

  • Complete Written & Oral Comprehensive Examinations. Must be taken within 24 months prior to the date of graduation. Complete and submit the Comprehensive Exam Form with signatures and grades to Graduate Chair, along with graded written examinations.

  • Application For Degree. If this form is not filed, a diploma will not be ordered and graduation will be delayed. Upon receipt of this form you will be given final procedures to complete your graduation requirements.

  • Schedule time and location for Final Oral Exam.

  • Final Examination Report For The Masters Degree (Must be submitted at least 4 weeks [3 in summer] prior to the date of the oral exam). Take completed form signed by your advisor(s) to the graduate secretary for Graduate Chair signature. The Comprehensive Exam Form must be on file before the Graduate Committee Chair signs off on your Final Examination Report for the Masters Degree.

  • Present Seminar on your project immediately before your final oral exam.

  • Final Oral Exam.

  • Final Examination Report Attachment (submit to graduate secretary).

  • Departmental Survey Of Graduates (submit to graduate secretary).

  • Attend Commencement exercises and celebrate your accomplishments!
