Business Management for Horticultural Enterprises

Description:  Students will research a specific horticultural enterprise, then develop and present a business plan using materials from the primary area of interest.  Requires completion of a shadowing assignment and analyses of case studies.

Prerequisites:  In order to obtain academic credit for this course, undergraduate students must be admitted to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and have completed one of the following:  HORT 325, HORT 327, HORT 362 or HORT 470.  Graduate students must be admitted to UNL's Graduate School, have completed a minimum of 12 hours of plant science courses, and have the permission of the instructor.
